Thailand has four hotels on this year’s “World’s 50 Best Hotels” list, which is compiled from votes cast by professionals in the field and seasoned travelers. Singapore and Indonesia each have two hotels on the list.
The title of finest hotel went to Capella Bangkok, a property situated on the banks of the Chao Phraya River in the Thai capital.
With more than a hundred rooms and lush tropical gardens, this hotel is set to open in 2020.

The Siam came in at number 26, Mandarin Oriental Bangkok came in at number 12, and the Four Seasons Bangkok at Chao Phraya River was at number 14.
Sixth position went to the historic 115-suite Raffles Singapore, while Capella, a hotel on Sentosa Island that dates back to the 1880s, came in at number thirty-three.

Tenth place went to Nihi Sumba on Sumba Island, Indonesia, with twenty-seven villas, while twenty-first place went to Desa Potato Head on Bali Island.
The following regions have the most hotels on the list: Asia (19), Europe (13), North America (9) Africa (4), Oceania (1), and South America (1).
The World’s 50 Best Hotels Academy, consisting of more than 580 autonomous industry heavyweights, initially compiled the ranking last year.
This year’s winner was the Passalacqua Hotel in Italy.
